OUR ministries

Holy Trinity, Deanshanger and St Guthlac's, Passenham are the churches of the Parish of Deanshanger, Old Stratford, Passenham and Puxley. HTD is a lively and growing church where you'll find a warm welcome and a friendly congregation, contemporary and accessible worship and a love for God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, a love for his people and his Word.

Connect Groups

Yes that's right! That picture shows one of our Connect Groups which we run down our local pub!
We have several Connect Groups running through our church. At this time we are unable to meet in person, so several of our groups are meeting online. Normally, our Connect Groups meet in a home environment, however some meet out in the community like our local pub and coffee shops.
Joining a Connect group is an ideal way to grow your faith, no matter how far along your journey you are - whether you've recently accepted Jesus into your life or have deep relationship already with him - Connect groups will encourage you to explore further, ask your questions and get closure to God.

Men's Group

Sometimes it's good to spend a bit of time with just us chaps, and give the ladies a break from us too!
We are looking to soon restart our Men's MInistry, which has taken a break for the pandemic.
It's a chance to play, share, do something different, and as we relaunch it we're looking forward to moving from our previous format of talks and a meal to something very different indeed. At the moment we have a Men's Whisky Tasting Evening (online, with Whisky samples delivered) which runs occasionally, subscribe to the email list to find out when the next one will be.

Prayer support

We always have a time of prayer in our services, to bring to God the issues of the day, both matters in the news and also our own needs and concerns. But we are also very happy to pray with you personally if you would like that. Prayer is such a vital resource in the life of any Christian and so often we don't make enough use of all that God has to offer us through prayer, so it's something we strongly encourage. We have a monthly prayer meeting too called Prayer Hub.

Kid's Ministry

Alongside the Sunday morning service there is Sunday school for children aged 3+. It is an opportunity for them to learn about Jesus through Bible stories, arts, crafts and games in a way that engages them, with the aim of providing the foundation blocks of the Christian faith and nurturing a relationship with Jesus that will hopefully last throughout their lives.

Pastoral Support

It's been a very difficult year or so, but at any time, life can be hard, for any of us. Christ calls on his Church (i.e. his followers) to care for one another, and anyone else who needs that compassion.. that's all of us from time to time.  If you would like to chat about something, anything, please contact our Pastoral team leader, Cathy.
